Original Universal Pictures One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Charles Chaplin romantic comedy, A COUNTESS FROM HONG KONG (1967) starring Marlon Brando and Sophia Loren. This last picture from Chaplin deals with a Russian countess (Loren) who stows away on a luxury liner in Hong Kong determined to seek a new life in America. When she hides in the cabin of a millionaire diplomat (Brando), an endless stream of misunderstandings and complications ensue. Though some critics claim that Brando was miscast, he also exhibits great comic timing in the many madcap farce scenes. This original one sheet poster is in very fine condition.
