Original Universal Pictures Window Card (14x22) for the John Guillerman thriller, HOUSE OF CARDS (1968) starring George Peppard, Inger Stevens, Orson Welles, and Keith Michell. During the 1960s, Universal Pictures made a mini-genre out of the "light-hearted-romantic-suspense-thriller." This one involves a plot to overthrow the French government and set up a fascist state. But their plans are discovered by an American writer and boxer (Peppard), who eventually foils their plans. The film is fast-paced, exciting, and well acted as well as presenting Paris is all its glory in the 1960s. This original window card is unfolded and in very fine condition.
