Original Masterpiece Productions Late 1940s Re-Release Group of 5 Lobby Cards (11x14) for the Henry Hathaway war drama, SUNDOWN (1941) starring Gene Tierney, Bruce Cabot, and George Sanders. The film chronicles the British fighting the Nazis in Africa who discover an exotic mystery woman living among the natives and enlist her aide in overcoming the Germans. The film received three Oscar nominations: Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, and Best Musical Score. These five lobby cards are theater-used and are in very good to fine condition. Unusual re-release material on this film produced by independent maven Walter Wanger.
