This elegant Hitchcock homage tells the story of Terry (Guttenberg) who is having an affair with his boss's wife Sylvia (Huppert). When Sylvia witnesses an assault from his bedroom window, Terry claims to authorities that he is the witness in order to protect Sylvia's identity. But the police suspect Terry; so, he must find and trap the real culprit. With a well-written script, excellent acting performances, stunning cinematography, and expert direction this film is a well-executed thriller.
