Original United Artists One-Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Robert Altman western comedy, BUFFALO BILL AND THE INDIANS (1976) starring Paul Newman, Joel Grey, Kevin McCarthy, and Harvey Keitel. This film is the story of a cynical Buffalo Bill (Newman), who hires Sitting Bull to add credibility to the distorted view of history presented in his Wild West Show. The film is not so much about the history behind Buffalo Bill as it is about making fun of the racist attitudes prevalent in so many Hollywood westerns. The poster is folded, colors are vivid, but there is some small handwriting of the title in the lower right hand corner of the poster.
