Original New World Pictures One-Sheet Poster for the Fritz Kiersch directed horror film CHILDREN OF THE CORN (1983). The film stars Peter Horton, Linda Hamilton, R.G. Armstrong, John Franklin, Courtney Gains and Robby Kiger. Based on a short story by Stephen King, Hal Roach studios first optioned the property and Stephen King wrote his own screenplay for it. Later the script was rewritten by George Goldsmith, much to King's chagrin. Not remembered particularly as one of the great adaptations from the horror universe of Stephen King, nevertheless the film has accrued a cult following over the years.
