Paramount Pictures Original 40x60 Poster Rolled Fair Condition

Original Paramount Pictures 40x60 poster in fair condition only for the Roman Polanski film noir classic, CHINATOWN (1974) starring Jack Nicholson, Faye Dunaway, and John Huston. Private Detective Jake Gittes (Nicholson) takes a seemingly simple case of a philandering husband that ultimately envelops him in a complex web of murder, incest, and municipal corruption on a grand scale. Truly deserving of its place as one of the greatest films of all time, everything about the film-- acting, cinematography, script, atmosphere, and music-- are superb. The film received 11 Academy Award nominations including Best Picture, Best Director for Polanski, Best Actor for Nicholson, and Best Actress for Dunaway. Robert Towne won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. With beautiful artwork by Jim Pearsall, this 40x60 poster is a scarce format which is in need of restoration. The poster has a Province of Quebec censor stamp on it. This stamp can be removied fairly easily. We have graded the condition as fair, and we offer it for an attractive price.
