Original Polish Poster (26x38) for the Steven Spielberg science fiction classic, CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND (1977) starring Richard Dreyfuss, Francois Truffaut, Teri Garr, Melinda Dillon, Bob Balaban and Lance Henriksen. A close encounter of the third kind is an actual meeting with an animated alien being associated with a UFO; not just a sighting or a physical effect from contact with the spacecraft. In Spielberg's classic film, several ordinary Americans find themselves drawn to a remote part of the American plains where they will literally find themselves in the presence of extraordinary beings from another world. Poster design features an almost comical image of an alien positioned before an ectoplasmic scrim. With artwork by Andrzei Pagowski, this original Polish poster is in very fine condition.
