Original Cinerama Releasing Style A One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Robert Siodmak historical biography, CUSTER OF THE WEST (1967) starring Robert Shaw, Mary Ure, and Ty Hardin. This film is the story of General George Custer, a flamboyant hero of the Civil War who later met his end at the famous battle or Little Big Hornin 1876. The film takes great liberties with the actual historical events, the greatest fabrication being that Custer is portrayed as the last man standing at the conclusion of the fateful battle. This original one sheet poster with artwork by Frank McCarthy is the non-cinerama style A version. The poster is folded and was used in a theater. We have graded it in fine condition, with a few corners missing but no fold separations and vivid color.
