Original Italian Photobusta (20x26) for the George Stevens western masterpiece, GIANT (1956) starring Elizabeth Taylor, Rock Hudson, James Dean, and Mercedes McCambridge. Based on the novel by Edna Ferber, this sprawling epic of a Texas cattle rancher and his family and associates spans many years, beginning with the newlywed couple and following them into their middle age. Taylor gives one of the strongest performances of her career, and James Dean delivers the final performance of his too short career. The cinematography and production design are consistently beautiful. The film was nominated for 10 Academy Awards-- including Best Picture, Best Actor for both Hudson and Dean, and Best Supporting Actress for McCambridge. The film won the Best Director Oscar for Stevens. This original Italian Photobusta of Taylor and Hudson is in fine condition-- with fold distresses, missing chips and tears in bottom border.
