Original MGM Scene Lobby Card (11x14) for the Charles F. Haas teen melodrama, GIRLS TOWN (1959) starring Mamie Van Doren, Mel Torme, and Paul Anka. This was one of many films produced by Albert Zugsmith in the late 50s and early 60s that combined some of the best psychotronic personalities of the period with trendy rock music and outlandish plots. Here we have sassy Mamie Van Doren who is accused of pushing her boyfriend over a cliff and is sent to a home run by nuns for young women in trouble with the law. This great trash fest also features Mel Torme as the leader of a motorcycle gang who drinks milk and bosses women around. Move Over, Brando!
