Original Universal Pictures One Sheet Poster (27x41). Folded. Very Fine Plus Condition.

Original Universal Pictures One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Ray McCarey comedy, GOODBYE BROADWAY (1938) starring Alice Brady, Charles Winninger, and Tom Brown. This comedy was based on a play, THE SHANNONS OF BROADWAY, written by actor and ex-vaudevillian James Gleason. It's the old show-biz razzmatazz. When Molly and Pat Malloy, a couple of married (to each other) troopers are insulted by the desk clerk of a rundown hotel, they buy the hotel just for the joy of firing the clerk. This stuff happens, of course, in Connecticut, which is where all these out-of-town theater stories seem to happen. Anyway the dismissed desk clerk gets even with the Malloys by inviting all their friends from New York up for a "free" stay in the provinces. This original one sheet poster is folded and in very fine plus condition.
