Four 7x9 Gelatin Silver Prints made for publicizing "The Best of Grouncho" circa 1955. The Best of Groucho was a syndication of favorite excerpts from "You Bet Your Life", one of the most popular quiz shows of the early television era. There are four photographs here. One is a nice portrait of Groucho Marx. Another pictures Marx with contestant Joan Fitzpatrick. Another shows Groucho with his longtime sidekick on the show, George Fennemann. Another shows the legend admiring a contestant, the buxom Sarita Pelkey. These are fantastic, to say the least. These stills are not reproductions. They are printed on single-weight paper and should be regarded in very good to fine condition. They clearly date from the period in question.
