American International Original Half Sheet Poster (22x28) Folded Once Very Good Plus Condition
American International Original U.S. Half-Sheet Poster (22x28) in very good plus condition. The film was directed by Gene Fowler, Jr. and starred Michael Landon (of BONANZA fame) as a teenager who morphs into a vicious werewolf when treated by his doctor with a special serum. The movie also starred Yvonne Fedderson and Tony Marshall. It cost a little over $80,000 to make and returned more than two million bucks to the producer. So they were happy. The film was released in the summer of 1957, and by November of that year the producer, Herman Cohen, had released its eternal companion film, I WAS A TEENAGE FRANKENSTEIN. The good looking Landon would go on to TV legendhood with his, producing and starring in LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE. This half sheet poster was lightly folded once in the middle, but has been stored flat. The fold is fairly subtle. This poster would restore quite well, but doesn't necessarily need it. MovieArt Austin guarantees that this poster is a vintage, authentic, theatrical-release U.S. half sheet for this film. MovieArt Austin will sell no reproductions.
