Warner Brothers Original U.S. One-Sheet Poster for the Oliver Stone directed film JFK (1991). The film tells the story of New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison, who, in 1967, indicted businessman Jim Garrison for the murder of President Kennedy. One of the greater agitprop films ever, the often fanciful, sometimes incisive movie looks at the assassination of the President with a jaundiced eye. Government conspiracy or mafia hit? Garrison, sympathetically portrayed by Kevin Costner, takes on the New Orleans underground in an attempt to find out who actually killed Kennedy. The cast is rather remarkable. Sissy Spacek, Kevin Bacon, Jack Lemmon, Tommy Lee Jones, Laurie Metcalf, Gary Oldman, Michale Rooker, Joe Pesci. The film was a huge hit and also viciously attacked as the fantasy of Oliver Stone. This one sheet was used in a theater. It is double-sided, which is fairly unusual for 1991 and was never folded. But it does show light signs of general use, with some minor defects.
