Famous Players-Lasky Corporation Original U.S. One-Sheet Poster (27x41) Folded Very Good Plus Condition
Original Famous Players-Lasky Original U.S. One-Sheet Poster, folded, and in very good plus to fine condition for the Charles Giblyn directed silent melodrama LET'S GET A DIVORCE (1918). The play from the film was adapted was almost forty years old when the film was made. It was play by Victorien Sardou, DIVORCONS (1880.) The film concerns a young woman, married to an older man, who is bored with her marriage and yearns for some romance, adventure and a renewed passion. A lover is close at hand in the form of her husband's cousin. This seems like fun at first. The woman is played by Billie Burke, on loan to Paramount from her own husband, Florenz Ziegfeld. Burke is most well known for playing Glenda the Good Witch in MGM's 1939 film THE WIZARD OF OZ. The poster is a stone lithograph and is quite beautiful. MovieArt Austin guarantees that this poster is an authentic U.S. one-sheet for this film. We have graded the poster in very good plus condition with some allowance for minor distresses accrued to the poster for over one century! MovieArt Austin does not sell reproductions.
