United Artists Original U.S. One-Sheet Poster (27x41) Style A Rare Folded

Original United Artists One-Sheet Poster (27x41), Style A, folded for the Robert Altman directed film THE LONG GOODBYE (1972). This noir crime thriller was directed by Robert Altman and based on Raymond Chandler's 1953 novel of the same title. The film stars Elliott Gould, as Philip Marlowe and features Sterling Hayden, Nina Van Pallandt, Henry Gibson and Jim Bouton. This style A version is very hard to find for some reason and Raymond Chandler collectors should please take note! The film was used in a cinema in Canada. Because the Canadian film industry did not use the American ratings system, the ratings box on the poster is covered neatly with tape. It is tape, however, that a professional should remove, in order not to damage the poster. Because of this we have graded the poster as very good. There are some small pinholes. Colors are vivid. MovieArt Austin guarantees that this poster is an authentic U.S. style A poster for this film. MovieArt Austin does not sell reproductions.
