20th Century Fox Original 11x14 Title Card for the Henry King directed film LOVE IS A MANY SPLENDORED THING. One of the most popular romantic tragedies of the 1950s, the film starred William Holden and Jennifer Jones as the beautiful Eurasian nurse he falls in love with. Filmed in CinemaScope in Hong Kong, the films is beautifully shot and well directed by Henry King. It's a two-hankie movie however. One which helped to ease domestic angst concerning interracial love in the U.S. in the socially conforming 1950s. The title card is in very fine condition.
