Original Columbia Pictures Scene Lobby Card (11x14) for the George Cukor comedy/drama, THE MARRYING KIND (1952) starring Judy Holliday, Aldo Ray, and Madge Kennedy. Holliday is known as one of the great comic actresses of her day, and this film does start out as a screwball comedy about a couple who find themselves in divorce court. The scenes of discordance and trials of married life are played for laughs in the beginning, but as the film progresses a much harder and darker edge takes over.
