Rastar Pictures Original U.S. One Sheet Poster for the Bob Rafelson directed potboiler THE POSTMAN ALWAYS RINGS TWICE (1981). The film stars Jack Nicholson and Jessica Lange. Of course this is the remake of the classic film noir of the same name from 1946. This was the fourth time that a film had been made of the novel by James M. Cain. Two of the biggest stars of the 80s, Nicholson and Lange, were harnessed to give the picture sizzle. But sizzle it did not for Rastar, just barely breaking even.
