Original Miramax Films One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Kaige Chen romantic drama, TEMPTRESS MOON (1996)-- starring Leslie Cheung, Li Gong, and Kevin Lin. This Chinese film is the follow-up to Chen's internationally acclaimed FAREWELL MY CONCUBINE (1993). A complicated love affair ensues between Pang Ruyi (Gong) and her brother-in-law Yu Zhongliang (Cheung) when the two are reunited in Shanghai to take over the Pang family business. The film is a sordid medley of opium addicts and black mailers and is a pointed political and social commentary, and the last we heard -- still banned from wide release in Mainland China by the state authority. This original double-sided one sheet poster is rolled and in very fine condition.
