Orion Classics U.S. One-Sheet Poster (27x41) Rolled Very Fine Condition

Orion Classics Original U.S. One-Sheet Poster (27x41), rolled and in very fine condition, for the Steven M. Martin directed documentary film THEREMIN (1994). The film is a lively look at one of the very first electronic musical instruments and its use is some classic films. The machine is radio-based and was invented by Leon Theremin. Its spooky oscillating sound was used by several composers in scores for classic films, most notably the score for SPELLBOUND by Miklos Rozsa. The film also examines the lives of Leon Theremin and Clara Reisenberg Rockmore. Rockmore was a violin prodigy who became a virtuoso performer on the instrument. This is a very entertaining documentary. Posters are now somewhat scarce.
