Paramount Pictures Original Italian Four-Foglio Poster (79x55) for the Michael Curtiz directed holiday film WHITE CHRISTMAS (1954). The film stars Danny Kaye, Bing Crosby, Vera-Ellen, Rosemary Clooney, Dean Jagger and Mary Wickes. The early fifties was, for the cinema, the beginning of the era of widescreen, and WHITE CHRISTMAS, a feel-good color musical was set to become the first production to be filmed in the widescreen process VistaVision. The screen was expansive, resolution was improved, and the sound was impressive. The film was laced with some great Irving Berlin tunes, and the Christmas themes were pervasive. The song "White Christmas" was revived for the film, having been originally used in the 1942 film HOLIDAY INN, also released by Paramount. The poster has art by Ercole Brini and clearly is a very uncommon poster. This poster was featured in a 2025 auction and passed, and now we are offering it on our own website.
