Original Warner Brothers Half Sheet Poster (22x28) for the Eugene Lourie science fiction/horror classic, THE BEAST FROM 20,000 FATHOMS (1953) starring Paul Hubschmid and Paula Raymond. Based on a short story by sci-fi icon Ray Bradbury, this is the tale of a ferocious dinosaur awakened by an Arctic atomic test, who then terrorizes the North Atlantic and ultimately New York City. What set this film apart from the other "monster-on-the-loose" films of the 1950's is the superior stop-action animation by special effects wizard Ray Harryhausen. This original half sheet poster was theater used and should be considered to be in average used condition. There is some edge wear, smudges and the general patina of a used poster.
