Original United Artists Press Kit with 10 gelatin silver prints (8x10) for the Hal Ashby comedy, BEING THERE (1980) starring Peter Sellers, Shirley MacLaine, and Melvyn Douglas. The film chronicles a simple gardener who becomes the unlikely trustee advisor to a powerful businessman and an insider in Washington politics. Sellers received his third Oscar nomination for Best Actor and Douglas won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. The cover of this press kit is worn around the edges, but the photographs and publicity contained in very fine condition. Please note that one of the photographs appears to have been trimmed evenly on the right border. None of the others are trimmed. All in all these are very good photos.
