MGM Original U.S. Lobby Card for the Anthony Mann directed western film CIMARRON (1960). The film stars Glenn Ford and Maria Schell. But occupying a minor role as a youth in pre-statehood Oklahoma was the talented and appealing Russ Tamblyn. He had made an impressive appearance in George Pal's TOM THUMB (1958) and he was brought on to be one of the seven brothers in Stanley Donen's SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS (1954). His performance as Riff in WEST SIDE STORY (1961) would assure his career as memorable. We purchased a collection of signed lobby cards from the estate of a gentleman who worked in film distribution. As this man met actors along the paths of their careers, he asked for signatures.
