Republic Pictures Original U.S.Scene LobbyCard for the Lewis F. Foster directed western film DAKOTA INCIDENT (1956). The film was released near the final time of Republic. The card has been autographed by Dale Robertson. The film stars Dale Robertson, Linda Darnell, Ward Bond and John Lund. This was one of the last attempts for Republic to produce an "A" picture. There is no doubt that some of Robertson's popularity from starring in the popular television program TALES OF WELLS FARGO would add some box office appeal to the movie. Dale owned his Haymaker Ranch in Oklahoma and dealt in thoroughbred horses. We purchased a collection of signed lobby cards from the estate of a gentleman who worked in film distribution.
