The film stars Leslie Caron (who would have a big year, also starring in GIGI), Dirk Bogarde, Alastair Sim, Robert Morley and Michael Gwynn. Of all the films made of plays written George Bernard Shaw, THE DOCTOR'S DILEMMA is probably the least well known. Based on the 1906 play of the same name, screenwriter Anatole de Grunwald tried to modern up the original writing.
