United Artists Original Scene Lobby Card for Howard Hughes directed film HELL'S ANGELS (1930.) Without a doubt, one of the most famous films of the decade of the 1930s. Hughes who was, as they say, plane-crazy, was able to photograph aviation action as it had never been photographed before. The story is a tale of World War I. This is not about the doughboys, but about the dashing, rough and tumble pilots that ushered in military aviation. Twelve years after the armistice of World War I, Hughes was able to assemble a cast that included Ben Lyon, James Hall, James Darrow and a young platinum blonde bombshell who would turn Hollywood blonde-crazy. She was Jean Harlow. Harlow would go on to make several enormously successful movies for MGM before her untimely death in 1937. This lobby card is graded in very good to fine condition. Image quality on the card is excellent. There are repairs to the card of a minor nature, and the work is very good. James Hall gets a kiss from Harlow. He won't forget it.
