The film stars Vincent Price, Sir Cedric Hardwicke, Nan Grey, Cecil Kellaway, Alan Napier, Frances Robinson, John Sutton, Lester Matthews and Frank O'Connor. The film is a sequel, of sorts, to the 1933 movie THE INVISIBLE MAN. But it is different also. Price plays Sir Geoffrey Radcliffe who is wrongly convicted of murdering his brother. In order to escape a grim fate, the brother of the invisible man in the first film administers a serum to Sir Geoffrey to make him invisible. But all does not go well, and the serum has, well, let's say some side effects. Most sequels tend to disappoint but this one is entertaining. The insert poster for RETURN OF THE INVISIBLE MAN is one of the scarcest posters in the pantheon of Universal Horror.
