Original Warner Bros Insert Card Poster (14x36) for the Richard Fleischer directed film THE JAZZ SINGER (1980). The film stars Niel Diamond, Laurrence Olivier and Lucie Arnaz. It seemed inevitable that Warners would remake the "first talkie" when Danny Thomas appeared in the 1952 version. But maybe not so apparent when they decided to cast one of the biggest singing stars of the late twentieth century in a third remake.
