United Artists Original U.S. Scene Lobby Card from the Harry Horner directed western film, THE MAN FROM DEL RIO (1956) starring Anthony Quinn, Katy Jurado, Peter Whitney, Whit Bissell and Douglas Fowley. The film concerns a gunfighter who becomes a sheriff. His reputation as a gunfighter follows him, of course, and the lowlifes in Del Rio, a border town, distrust him. Likewise, the good citizens of Del Rio despise him. Only Anthony Quinn, the Mighty Quinn, can navigate all this. And he has the help of the lovely Katy Jurado. What a great presence she was in the movies. This card has been autographed by Anthony Quinn. The film was produced by Robert L. Jacks, who produced many movies and later went on to produce "The Waltons" for TV. We purchased a collection of signed lobby cards from the estate of a gentleman who worked in film distribution. As this man met actors along the paths of their careers, he asked for signatures.
