Columbia Pictures Original U.S. Insert Poster for the Terence Fisher directed horror film THE REVENGE OF FRANKENSTEIN (1958). The film stars Peter Cushing, Francis Matthews, Eunice Gayson, Michael Gwynn, and Lionel Jeffries. Hammer Film Productions had, the year before, completed their own adaptation of the classic story, which they entitiled THE CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN, and which also starred Cushing, directed by Fisher. It was popular, made money, and so the company embarked on a sequel - of sorts. In this film, Dr. Frankenstein eludes his demise indicated in the first film, escapes and sets up shop in Germany. The film was released in June of 1958 in the U.S. This insert card poster was used in a theater, and remains in very fine condition.
