The movie is based on a novel, "Dark Page" which was written by none other than Samuel Fuller. The movie clearly lives in the subgenre of noirs we can call Newspaper Noirs. This is where the press rakes the muck and keeps criminals at bay and corrupt officials exposed. Howard Hawks bought the rights to the novel in the 1940s but never made the movie. It's not in the top tier of noirs, but is nonetheless entertaining. The poster is great and should be in somebody's man-cave. Condition is average used, graded as very good plus. Colors are great.
