Original 20th Century Fox Italian one-sheet poster for Andrew L. Stone's exceptional African-American musical STORMY WEATHER (1943) with a cast of the top black musical stars of the time-- including Lena Horne, Bill "Bojangles" Robinson, Cab Calloway, and Fats Waller. Great art of Lena Horne. This is from the first Italian release of the film, which, of course did not play in Italy in 1943 because of the war. We believe that the art is probably by Paolo Tarquini - for a number of reasons, but we cannot be sure. It is an exuberant image of Lena Horne which is clearly in the style of Tarquini. In very nice shape, but could be improved with linen-backing. Ask about poster restoration services. Absolutely authentic.
