MGM Original U.S. Title Lobby Card for the Richard Whorf directed film TILL THE CLOUDS ROLL BY (1946). The star laden film was a fanciful if lush biopic of Broadway composer Jerome Kern. MGM contract players including June Allyson, Lucille Bremer, Judy Garland, Van Heflin, Tony Martin, Dinah Shore, Robert Walker, Cyd Charisse, Lena Horne and ton of others interpret Kern's songs in heavily staged numbers. Not much in the way of a biopic is advanced, but the music is great. A highlight was Ol' Blue Eyes singing "Ol' Man River" from "Show Boat". This title card is beautifully, legibly signed by Sinatra.
