Original Seven Arts U.S. One-Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Eduard Molinaro spoof spy film AGENT-38-24-36 starring Brigitte Bardot, Gregoire Aslan, and Anthony Perkins. It was 1965 and the cinematic world was awash in Bonds, Helms, and Harry Palmers. There was no reason that that Brigitte Bardot couldn't measure up to Connery and the like. This pleasant spoof was a French movie with the title UNA RAVISSANTE IDIOTE and the Italian title UNA ADORABLE IDIOTA. This poster was used in a theater, and has survived the years very well indeed. However, please note that the English title has been appended to the poster as a snipe, indicating that the original distributor, Seven Arts, wanted a different title that was originally planned. A snipe is a sticker which is pasted to the poster. Generally they are easy to remove with restoration. We have graded the poster as very fine.
