Original Warner Brothers French Grande Poster (47x63) for the Terrence Malick cult masterpiece BADLANDS (1973), starring Martin Sheen, Sissy Spacek, and Warren Oates. In a dazzling feature film debut, Malick tells the story of a teenage girl (Spacek) and her twenty-something boyfriend (Sheen) who slaughter an entire family and several others in the Dakota badlands. Much of the story is told through an internal monologue by the teenage Holly (Spacek) who explains as well as comments on the strange tale. This poster is folded, as is normal for French Grandes and features art by the wonderful Jean Mascii. The poster was used in a theater in Quebec and shows some signs of general use, including small tears at the edges, a Province of Quebec censor stamp (removeable) and evidence of the presence of a snipe, which was removed.
