He would make one more, THE VOYAGE (1974). The film stars Florinda Bolkan, Renato Salvatori, Daniel Quendaud and Hugo Blanco. The film tells the story of a factory worker who becomes ill on the job. A doctor recommends that she take a rest in the mountains. She does so but not without costs, frustrating her in-laws and her three children. The film meant to address the issues of health care and personal obligation. The script was written by Cesare Zavattini, one of the best Italian screenwriters, the author of many important scripts, including THE BICYCLE THIEF (1948) and TWO WOMEN (1960).
