MGM Original U.S. One-Sheet poster for the Daniel Mann directed film, BUTTERFIELD 8 (1960). It is for this film that Elizabeth Taylor won an Oscar. The cautionary tale of a New York call girl, the movie was based a popular novel by John O'Hara. Taylor hated the movie, and did only to fulfill a contract to MGM. Sixty years after its release, it is still a must sell for Taylor fans. This poster has an issue which happens sometimes to posters, and that is that there is a legend created in the white area of the poster of red ink from the lettering. This occurs which the poster is stored over decades. This can be fixed with restoration. We are offering the poster for a favorable price and we request that there be no returns for this poster.
