London Film Productions (U.S. Release through United Artists) original Black and White Gelatin Silver Prints (photographs) from the Anthony Kimmins directed film THE CAPTAIN'S PARADISE (1953). Alec Guiness, one of the screen's most fascination, skillful and entertaining actors, plays Captain Henry St. James, the captain of a ferry boat that runs a schedule between Gibraltar and Morocco. In Gibraltar he has a proper wife, played by Celia Johnson and in Ceuta, a small territory ruled by Spain in Morroco, he has a fiery mistress played by Yvonne DeCarlo. DeCarlo convinced Kimmins to do a sequence where she and Guiness dance the mambo. These stills are not perfect, they have some defects, but they are rare.
