Four U.S. Stills from THE CHRISTINE KEELER AFFAIR (1963) Four black and white stills, offered here, advertises the film as THE CHRISTINE KEELER AFFAIR. And, indeed, it was an affair. This movie was made quickly and cheaply to exploit the security scandals in the British government in 1962-1963. John Profumo, the Minister of Defense was accused of seeing a prostitute who was also acquainted with a Russian spy. The scandal rocked the UK establishment. Yvonne Buckingham portrays Keeler and Alicia Brandet plays Mandy Rice-Davies. John Drew Barrymore plays Dr. Stephen Ward, and oddly no one portrays Profumo. These photos were used in a theater. Two of the photos are fine, two are well-used.
