Original MGM Scene Lobby Card (11x14) for the film DR. KILDARE'S WEDDING DAY. The card shows Lew Ayres in the title role as well as Lionel Barrymore and Walter Kingsford. The tag-line reads, curiously, "If you throw up the sponge...you're not the fighting young doctor I've loved like a son." This line comes from Barrymore, who played the young physician's mentor in the series. We can't help but believe however that the line must have been "If you throw IN the sponge..." Don't you think?
