Based on the Thomas Hardy novel , Christie play Bathsheba Everdene, a willful and passionate young woman who is only satisfied with a man's complete and helpless adoration. Besides memorable performances all around, the film boasts beautiful cinematography and the use of English folk songs to complement the storyline. Richard Rodney Bennett won the film's only Academy Award for Best Original Score. This original window card is in very fine condition.
