Original Belgian Stock Poster (13x21) for the popular Òsinging cowboyÓ Gene Autry. Autry gained fame on radio, in movies, and on television for more that three decades beginning in the early 1930s. By the end of his career, he had appeared in 94 films and 91 episodes of his TV series. Autry was also one of the most influential performers of country music, and his Òsinging cowboyÓ movies were the first vehicle to carry country music to a national audience. This original stock Belgian poster is in very fine condition. The title for the film which was exhibited has been handwritte on the poster. It is DOWN MEXICO WAY (1941).
