Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh were married to each other, and so their pairing in this film gave the movie some heft with the audience. But as it turns out, the movie was quite good and remains a favorite today with fans of Harry Houdini. Of course, some liberties were taken with the truth, but the film plays quite well.
