Description
Original Warner Brothers Three Sheet Poster. Folded. Fine Plus Condition.
Original Warner Brothers Three Sheet Poster (41x81) for the Robert Altman and George W. George documentary, THE JAMES DEAN STORY (1957) narrated by Martin Gabel. Made shortly after the young actor's untimely death, the film makes use of still photographs with narration and interviews, including Dean's aunt and uncle who raised him after his mother died when the boy was nine years old. Here his "rebel" side is seen more as an expression of his loneliness and search for acceptance. This original three sheet poster is folded and in fine plus condition, with minor tears and rumpling mostly in the border area. One of Altman's first projects was this documentary.
