This is the story of the legendary Greek hero who leads a team of intrepid adventurers in a perilous quest for the Golden Fleece. Bernard Herrmann composed an excellent score for this film, and the special effects creator was stop-motion magician Ray Harryhausen. His legendary skeleton fight at the end of the film took Harryhausen and his special effects crew three months to create. Still a favorite among stop-motion animation fans.
