Goddard plays the character Kitty, a saucy wench of the slums who meets the painter Gainsborough and his friends, including a penniless Sir Hugh Marcy (Milland), who schemes to pass Kitty off as a genuine lady and marry her off for financial gain. At the top of her career, the film is wonderful tribute to GoddardÕs acting abilities. This original one sheet poster is folded and in fine plus condition.
