United Artists Original US One-Sheet Poster (27x41) Folded Very Good Condition

Original United Artists One-Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Edouard Molinaro French comedy, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES (1978) starring Ugo Tognazzi, Michel Serrault, and Claire Maurier. This extremely funny comedy about a gay couple trying to cover up their gay lifestyle and their gay drag club downstairs when their son brings his fiancĀŽ and her parents to dinner. Extremely popular in France, the film also became a hit in the United States. Later the film was remade as an American film, THE BIRDCAGE. We have graded this one sheet as very good to fine. There is a small tear from the top, about two inches, repaired with archival tissue. This was a theater-used poster and shows signs of general use.
